Products
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on our website are accurate.
Because jewellery may be photographed under different lighting conditions and viewed on different screens, colours and finishes may appear slightly different from what you see in person.
Makoya jewellery is all hand-made, therefore small variations may therefore occur and can form part of the character of the piece.
Pricing
All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
My prices include VAT. I am not VAT registerd.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies. If an obvious pricing error affects an order, we will contact you before processing the order where reasonably possible.
Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is subject to product availability and successful payment.
We reserve the right to contact you if there is an issue with your order, including stock availability, pricing or payment.
Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Your order will only be processed once payment has been successfully received.
Delivery
Delivery is subject to our Shipping Policy.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed delivery dates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, weather, incorrect delivery information or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Returns, refunds and defective products
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African consumer-protection legislation.
The Consumer Protection Act provides statutory consumer protections concerning goods, including remedies for defective goods in applicable circumstances.
Jewellery care
Jewellery requires appropriate care.
Makoya Jewellery is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, accidents, exposure to chemicals, chlorine, perfume, cosmetics, excessive moisture or failure to follow our jewellery-care recommendations, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Tarnishing and oxidation of sterling silver and brass are natural characteristics of these metals and are not, by themselves, evidence of a manufacturing defect.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or use our content commercially without our prior written permission.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Makoya Jewellery will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
